The phone rang. “No kissing tonight,” he said. “Do you have your teeth,” she asked. Stitched lip, teeth intact, he grabbed his hockey stick again. (25)



In The Eye Of The Beholder

He towed it home. It didn’t run. It was so ugly. He was so happy. “How’s the interior,” she asked hopefully. “Interior?” He asked, smiling. (25)

You really captured what these Micro Stories are. All three of your entries tells a story that leaves us saying "Oh, that was good. I didn't expect that." The first one even takes us beyond words into the life of a person who will never be the same. I hope you write more of these.
