Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings AS eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Ezekiel 10:19 And the cherubims lifted up their wings, and mounted up from the earth in my sight: when they went out, the wheels also were beside them, and every one stood at the door of the east gate of the LORD'S house; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.

Sparrow Blue

Come.
Come.
Come to Me,
My little sparrow blue.
Come.
Come.
Give your ear to Me.
Thereís something I want to share with you.

Youíve heard it said
that eagles fly
above the mountains high.
You spread your wings as wide
as My little Beloved can.
But you do not think you are strong enough
to fly over even barren land.

Come.
Come.
Come to Me,
My little sparrow blue.
Come.
Come.
Give your eyes to Me.
Thereís something I want to share with you.

This weak hour
and things unsure,
you feel you canít endure.
I raise up the low sprig
and I bring the tall tree down.
You need only know I Am that I Am.
Stand still and wait here on solid ground.

Come.
Come.
Come to Me,
My little sparrow blue.
Come.
Come.
Give your dreams to Me
and just watch what your Father will do.

Iíll set you on
the highest peak,
above what makes you weak.
Wait on Me. Then, you will see,
those things you canít do, My love, I can.
And soon, youíll be flying high and free.

Come.
Come.
Come to Me,
My little sparrow blue.
Come.
Come.
Give your all to Me
and I will return much more to you.

Though you believe
that you are poor,
can find no opened door,
I place treasures in your hand.
Give even your emptiness to Me.
The Door takes you to your promised land.

Come.
Come.
Come to Me.
My little sparrow blue.
Come.
Come.
Just abide in Me.
My love, I will abide in you.

For it is then
I make you strong
and I become your song.
Be still. Be still. Just be still.
Give even this hour back to Me,
Know not just that I can, but I will.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Treava, there is so much in the way of spiritual lessons in this. I pray God will hug you real tight, my sister-in-Christ.

wow! this is beautiful! one of my favorite verses in Matthew is ...Look at the birds of the field- they do not sow or reap or store away in barns and yet your Heavely Father feeds them- are you not more valuable than they? His eye is even on the Sparrow! Keep glorifying the Lord!!! Love Danette

Treava, Wow! So beautiful, so simple, yet so profound. His strength is perfect and it's not by might, nor by power, but by His Spirit. He has ordained ALL of our days.

I loved this. The picture is awesome. The poem is great. When I look at the birds I wonder "God, how did you do that?" Such beautiful colors....so small a body and yet they fly thru the air with ease. Thank you for sharing this and GOD BLESS YOU

Treava... I kept thinking over and over as I read this beautiful poem how God is made perfect in our weakness. Like the Sparrow, we are so limited in what we can do... until we rely upon the Lord and then we can fly with wings of Eagles! We can soar because of HIS STRENGTH and as long as we hold on to Him we will be strong, too. May we cling to Him in all ways and encourage others to grab hold and come fly with us! With love, Peggy

Oh Treava! This is so sweet! You know the more I learn about God, the less I know. He's so good to us and He meets our needs better than we can even try to understand. Rest in His promises. He will bring you out of this time and you'll just soar. And I am so looking forward to seeing those beautiful wings of yours. You are such a gift. xoxox
