I saw a pregnant woman nearing the point of birth
I could tell the time was near by the size of her girth
I am sure her body is tired from carrying that load
I imagine she will be glad to take that hospital road
Her labor pains grow more intense as her time nears
Her baby will be born because of her pain and tears
When the delivery is over and she holds her baby in her lap
Her labor pains will be forgotten as she sweetly takes a nap
Our trials and tribulations are labor pains of a different sort
I know our God will see us through and not prematurely abort
His divine plans and purposes for our labor pains and sorrow
Will be worth waiting for when we see our bright tomorrow
As the time of the Lord's deliverance draws nigh
Sometimes all we can do is to intensely cry and sigh
These sounds are music to God's ever hearing ears
He will bring to birth and wash away our tears
If you died today, are you absolutely certain that you would go to heaven? You can be! TRUST JESUS NOW

The lines are a bit long, and sometimes hard to keep the rythmn. Perhaps, you could divide each line in 'half' and rhyme every other line. (just a thought)
