'Tis cold and tis windy at the harbor today
Autumn will bring voyagers from their way
Some will return bearing treasures untold
And some disappear in the darkness and cold
So here now we sit overlooking the bay
Awaiting our comrades from seas wide and grey
To wile the time we hear tales told
And sip the black brew that makes a man bold

If you died today, are you absolutely certain that you would go to heaven? You can be! TRUST JESUS NOW

Welcome to the community that is faithwriters Jason. I enjoyed this piece very much; I can see you are using your potential despite disability and loneliness. I hope faithwriters will reduce your sense of isolation and affirm your calling as a writer.

That is good! You did well presenting a specific mood and you painted a very clear picture yet didnít lose the nameless intrigue of the seafaring lore. :)

Poetry is not my best medium. But this piece I think quite good. It captures an image I have held from childhood.
