Positioned For a Blessing

When problems seem to come, it is time to thank the Lord and rejoice. We have two options when we are faced with these problems. Do we desire to see the hand of the Lord move on our behalf? If so, then it is a time for rejoicing as it is really just a setup for the Lord to intervene. If everything is going smooth and there is no need, then what does God need to supply? God says that He will supply all of our needs. If there is not a need, then there is nothing for God to supply.
Option one is that we can look at circumstances and come into agreement with the devil. We can say woe is me, I’m scared, or what am I going to do? The devil is waiting in these times and bombarding our minds with worry, doubt, fear, discouragement, or unbelief. Yet, when we give in to these attacks, where is our faith? You know, that thing that it takes to please God.
We are told to give thanks in everything. Giving thanks thwarts the enemy and his attacks. If we can thank God for the trials and the times we seem to suffer lack, what does the devil have to work with? God inhabits praise, so when we have a right focus and attitude, the enemy can’t overtake us.
Years ago I received a word from the Holy Spirit. He said that circumstances were not the problem. As I changed, circumstances would automatically change, as they were only circumstances because of the way that I viewed them. We may view circumstances as a negative and give place to the devil, or can view them as a setup by God and be positioned for a blessing. If we can view them as a setup we are able then to thank and praise the lord by faith and see his hand move on our behalf. We must realize that problem’s or needs are only opportunities for God to prove his word for us. There is a song we sang years ago something like this. If it were not for the problems, I would never know that God could solve them. Problems are just a setup that positions us to receive a blessing from the Lord. So rejoice and be thankful and glad!
