How many people out there are sitting on the fence right now about the most important decision of their lives? What decision? The decision to choose God! The decision to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior! If you’ve ever wondered what life was about, this decision has to be central to the answer.
Forming a relationship with God is the most important thing that anyone could ever do, and yet…people are still sitting on the fence. Why? They know that getting saved is important and yet…they don’t. What is it that they think they’ll be losing? Their worldly lifestyles? Probably. They don’t want to give up drugs, or fornication, or lying, or whatever sins they believe are bringing them pleasure. Or maybe, heaven forbid, they’re just not taking time out of their busy lives to do the most important thing they can ever do.
Now, don’t get me wrong. I know that there are plenty of atheists, agnostics, and people who just believe differently than the Christian does. The people that I’m talking about are the people who believe in Christ, know at least the basic teachings, but just never took the step to be saved. So what do we as Christians do to connect with these people?
There are many different methods and messages out there, and I’m not going to go into any of them. The only message that I’d like to deliver is that It’s time to choose! As Christians, we can’t allow people to believe that they’re okay because they’re basically good people, even though they haven’t been saved. The Lord Jesus stated very clearly “He who is not with Me is against Me” Matt. 12:30. This means that anyone who hasn’t chosen the Lord Jesus as their savior is against Him, and therefore serving the dark one. I think that this is something very important to understand.
Most people would never admit that they serve Satan. They would quickly exclaim that they are not a Satanist or devil worshiper. They don’t realize that if they do not accept the Lord Jesus as their savior, then they are indeed serving Satan. I believe that we must make that very clear. It’s not “okay” to sit on the fence. Especially in view of the time of tribulation that I personally believe will quickly be coming upon this world, if indeed it has not already started.
There are many end time scenarios out there, and I’m not going to go into those either. What I will say is that we were commanded to watch. And as we watch we would be remiss if we do not do all that we can to reach those people on the fence, and anyone else that we know has not been saved. In view of the fate that we know these people are condemning themselves to, we have to make every effort to make them understand. Once again I’ll repeat the verse: “He who is not with Me is against Me” Matt. 12:30. It’s time to choose!
