The Concert
She was surrounded by the loud noise as Christian concert-goers jumped around to the beat of the music. She stood in the crowd feeling loneliness deep inside. Then the message came from the lead singer, it touched deep down in her soul, and she invited Jesus into her heart. (49)
Believing
Praying everyday was something he had always done out of habit and comfort. He never really had felt that it made any difference, or that there was anyone even there to listen. That all changed after he found Jesus and invited the Holy Spirit into his heart, he was reborn. (50)
A Friend
He was the boy who sat alone at lunch and hated recess because he didn't fit in. The new girl was so different than other kids, she had Jesus in her heart. She reached out to the boy, and for the first time, he had found a friend. (48)
Outreach
Pain weighed heavy on her heart as she contemplated taking her own life. She saw no other solution to her mounting problems that overwhelmed her heart and mind. Answering the phone, it was a friend from school calling to invite her to their youth group meeting, and she agreed. (49)
The One
He had waited so long for this day. She was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen, and was amazed how surprisingly they had met by chance. As he walked down the aisle to say, "I do," he thanked God for giving him this gift of love. (48)
