Though you may think of this
Time as a period to mourn,
But the bible says the day of death is better
Than the day you were born,
Satan comes as a thief to kill and destroy,
But the battle he has not won,
For as you stand before your Lord
And Master-I know he will say “Well done”!
Gracious and merciful
is what your name epitomizes,
Characteristics of Christian traits
And fruitages in God’s eyes,
You had kind and loving ways
And a winning smile,
We hoped you could have stayed
On earth for just a little while,
You always spoke uplifting,
Not a negative thing did you say,
You were always concerned
About others, that was just your way,
Close your eyes and rest my child,
As you hear the angels sing,
You’ll suffer no more, because
You were called home to the King!
