Are We a Prodigal Son?

Are You The Prodigal Son?

“Now where does God lead?”
We sometimes may ask.
“Is this the right way?
And is this the right task?
It sometimes is hard
To know where to go,
But Jesus does guide
And the true way will show.

The Spirit does speak
To each person today
And everyone’s message
Is sent in its special way.
I hope that you hear
The Lord’s personal call,
To come unto him
And at his feet do fall.

The ‘Prodigal Son’
Felt unworthy yet did
Return to his Father
Who never had hid.
But rather the Father
Was looking each day
To see if the son
Was returning His way.

Now God wants each one
To come to Him now
And then at His feet
In humility bow.
I hope that you have
Come to worship the Lord
And are now at His feet
Not saying a word.

Just listen to Him
As He shares His love
With you personally
From heaven above.
May all that you hear
Be close to your heart.
And as God gave Himself
We also should start.

Rejoice at the feast
Of gladness for you
Since you have returned
So what else would God do?
A child has returned
And this makes such glee
For poor wretched people
Like you and like me.
