STOP GIVING EXCUSES

When the Lord calls us into His service and kingdom, we so in many ways find ourselves giving excuses.
But one thing with our God is that He could use anyone He wants to rely His message to His people if we ourselves don't comply and hearken to His voice.

I look at Jeremiah, the prophet, so young at age.He had an excuse to give to God when he was called.
"Lord I am too young" he said.
Look at God's answer if I may just quote,"No, don't say so, I knew you even before you were formed in your mother's womb."

Jeremiah indeed was young, but his excuse could not get him anywhere, he had to submit to God's voice and obey the Lord. There are so many people who gave excuses when they were called.

But this one in the New Testament astonishes me even more. The master had invited guests to come into a party. When the food and everything was prepared and ready, the master sent the people to go and invite the guests to come and feast together.
All those that were invited gave excuses not to attend, one said that he had bought oxen and he wanted to go and try them.Another said that he had just recently married and so could not attend the feast.Excuses, excuses, they gave and all failed to attend.

But you know what, whether they attended or not the party had to on.The master sent his servants to go at the highways and call the people who were of low class.People who were not worth, so that it may be fulfilled by the scripture, God uses the weak things to shame the mighty ones. The paryt continued.

Friends, there is no excuse you can ever give not to serve God.
It's time that we rise up and stop giving excuses.God can use anything to give Him all the glory.
Let's wake up from our comfort zones and serve the Lord.
No excuses again.
God bless you all.

No Justus there are just no excuses for not serving the Lord. You mentioned Jeremiah which is one of my favorite prophets. He was trying so hard to turn the heart of the people back to the Lord. That is what you too are doing as well. God bless you in your efforts. In His love, your friend, Sharon
