There's the sun, and the moon and the stars in the sky,
The sparkle and the twinkle in a baby's eye,
We can sail the rivers and oceans - even the deep blue seas,
Enjoy the pretty flowers and the tall stately trees.
We can stroll through the valley or climb the highest hill,
Hear the song of the robin perched on our windowsill.
When it storms we see the lightning and hear the thunder roar,
We can see the ships at sea as we stand upon the shore.
Then there's the big old elephant with his funny trunk
And a stinky little critter that we all call a skunk.
The list would last forever if we were naming everything
That we all receive from our Father, Savior, King.
So, we must ask ourselves the question, "How can we not believe?"
When as one of God's children all these blessings we receive.
But more than all of the blessings this old world can hold,
More than fortune or fame - more than silver or gold,
It's having the presence of the Lord in our lives
That makes life worth living until our last day arrives.
