Being a parent in todays society can be overwhelming and truly fearful. Our kids are faced with many uneasy elements that can either make or break them. I hear that infamous remarks, "I'm not going to force my children to believe what I believe". Really???? "I'm not going to force religion on my kids". Really???
Our kids or God's children are being bombarded with sexism, gayism, muzzleism, and all other kinds of "isms". The scripture says, we should train a child in the way he "SHOULD" go...Our society says it's Ok to have as many sexual partners as possible, but what does the scripture say...Our society says it's ok to be deceitful and dishonest as long as you get ahead doing it. What does the scripture say?..Our society says it's ok to promote and proclaim being gay. What does the scripture say?
I will not be political correct within this society anymore. Yes, I will impart my beliefs on my children because if I don't the society, (TV and the media of any kind)will. I don't agree with gay bashing but I don't agree with the lifestyle either. Just like it's not right to engage in pre-martial sex. Even though I engaged earlier, now I know why a person should wait until marriage to have sex.. Sex is wrong if its done out of God's will. Yes, I will teach that to my (God's) children. God's has a standard and should I sit by and let the society tell me what the way is?
We have women rights, gay rights, Black causus rights, how about just having God Rights rally. We can't say God within the society but we use vulgarity without even thinking. Is that right? ..I will not force religion on my children but, I will promote a relationship with Christ. It's a difference. I want my kids to understand that God has a way whether the society or your kids except it or not isn't the issue. God has a way and either we are going to do it or not. If we are going to do it we should not be afraid of being politically incorrect. Was Jesus politically incorrect or was he here to do God's will? Many people hated Jesus but he did what he had to do.
Yes, all of God's children means to me that we should teach our kids God ways. It means we as parents should live it and pray that our children will live it too.
