You died for me so long ago, the debt of sin repaid. You died for me so I could live in the Fathers warm embrace. The path you trod was full of mud and sticks and stones,you were beaten and mocked as you carried that cross, on that cold and rainy morn, you died as you hung from that cross rejected and alone, so I could be reborn.
I wish that I could trod to the hill of Calvary to witness the miracle of God's love as he gave his life for me.
