The one thing God gave me is free will
I choose
No matter the circumstances
I choose
I don’t have to take God guided steps if I don’t want to
What is this victim mentality?
“So…do you have a boyfriend?”
“No.”
“I’m still waiting on the Lord”
“So…where are you working now?”
“Well,”
“I’m still at Pupu’s shop.”
“Oh! I thought you hated it there?”
“I’m still praying about it. I need to know the will of God first”
Sounds ‘politically correct’
But is it sane?
I mean, if I hate that job at Pupu’s why subject myself to such nonsense?
Why not leave?
God’s will is great and all but I have to choose
It’s not automatic just because I’m a Christian!
I need to give my GOD centre stage in my life to get that guidance
GOD is not a charity for all organisation, if you are willing and obedient only
Surrender ALL
You must CHOOSE
There is no escape from that
Then you can say that you’re waiting on the Lord
Then you can trust in HIS timing for things in your life
Then you can trust in HIS guidance: who to marry; whether to accept that job offer or let it go; whether to leave a job or to stay; whether to buy that house or not and so on
Things don’t just happen
People make things happen
You’re in control not GOD
That is,
Until YOU decide that GOD should take control
