John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
John 1:16 And of his fullness have all we received, and grace for grace.
Col. 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.
In him dwelleth all the fullness of God, how much of God was in Christ? We look at the next verse because it is the same for us…
Col. 2:10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
The word complete is pepleromenoi, it is the perfect passive indicative tense which basically means it is something that was completed in the past with continuing results and which we had nothing to do with but we enjoy the benefits of it…
We are complete in Him of filled with his fullness… when it says fullness, it couldn’t get any fuller, when it says complete you can’t add any more to it… one translation says crammed full… We are filled with the fullness of God.
The word complete means to have no lack, in Christ our faith is not lacking, our healing is not lacking, our victory is not lacking, we have everything we need for life and godliness…
How many of you have heard when a child is born of a birth defect, well in God there are no birth defects, we are born again perfect, complete in Him and lacking nothing…
We have received his fullness, the full measure of Him… The bible tells us that God planned redemption from before eternity, then after Adam sinned it was 4000 years before Christ came… Do you think God didn’t have enough time to plan what he would do in redemption, do you think he forgot something or left something out?
Eph. 1:23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
Eph. 3:19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
Hos. 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge:
Phile 6 That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.
We already have the answer on the inside, we just need to walk in it…
Rom. 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Gal. 5:16-18 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
Gal. 6:8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
Walk according to who you are in the spirit, not who you are in the flesh… Walking in the flesh is not natural, have you ever sinned and you feel bad, because it is not natural to you anymore, it is natural now to do what is right…
Rom. 12:1-2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Eph. 4:17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind…
Vanity means devoid of truth or lacking in truth… what he is saying here is that the unbelievers have a lack of truth or don’t understand the truth, this is the way we used to think but we don’t need to think this way now because we have been redeemed, we have Zoe life…
2Cor. 4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
2Cor. 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
How many of you believe you are born again? How do you know? The promise of salvation that you so readily believe is also the same promise that heals, delivers, sets free, it is the same promise, if we have already received the life then we have also received everything that goes with that life….
2Pet. 1:3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
Eph. 4:22-24 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
Col. 3:10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
The new man is renewed in knowledge, it is knowing who we are, knowing what has been done for us in Christ that causes us to be victorious, that causes us to walk in all that has been accomplished for us in Christ…
Rom. 4:20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
John 4:13-14 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
We have a well of Zoe on the inside of us right now, first we need to stir it up, we do this by meditating on it and by renewing our minds with it… then we need to learn to draw from it, we need to learn to draw it out and walk in the Zoe life…
