Every week in our church the testimony time is the most blessed time, it starts with people who have been blessed as they are eagerly waiting to testify to all about the wondrous and miraculous deeds the Lord has done in their lives, sitting shrinked and in fear are those who are going through troubles and after they have heard how the Lord God brought deliverance in others lives, they too stand up to share their problems and request the church to pray...
"Consider my affliction and deliver me,
For I do not forget Your law."
The church then together thank the Lord for the deliverances and earnestly pleads for the troubled ones...the next week it's those troubled ones who stand up first to testify the deliverances and it goes on..
It has not been promised to us that we will not have troubles, however deliverance is promised to us, we have healing in Jesus name.
The storms of life can never drown us until Jesus is in our life's boat, the storm has to first drown the Master and then come to us and since the former is impossible the latter is untouched.
It is said, when Abraham Lincoln was going through troubled times in administration, a lady tried to encourage him saying 'President, don't worry, for God is on our side' to which Abraham Lincoln replied 'I know that God is always with us, but what I am trying to introspect is whether I am on the side of God or not'
Till we walk in the ways of the Lord we need not fear, we can boldly face every circumstances, for it is the Lord Who fights for us and leads us from victory to greater victory.
