Yiddish for 'So? What else is new?')

Let me pass
through your land;
I will go only
by the road,
I will turn aside
neither to the right
nor to the left.
[Deuteronomy 2:27]
*************************
"Help! Help, LORD!"
"What is it, Mein kinderlah?"
"Oy! I can't STAND it!
What am I gonna' DO?"
"Calm down, Mein kinder'.
Speak to Me."
"I'm........I'm at a CROSSROAD,
Lord! What am I gonna' DO?
AGHHH! AGHHH! HELP!"
"What crossroad, My child."
"THIS ONE! THIS one!
I'm at an INTERSECTION,
and I don't know WHAT TO DO!
AGHHH! HELP!
The LIGHT'S about to TURN!"
"Child, what is this about?"
"Well, LORD!
Where have YOU BEEN?
Haven't You HEARD?
All middle-aged women
are being told they're
at a CROSSROAD! So.....
I guess, I'm at one, TOO!
AGHHH!"
"Why must you be at one,
My precious."
"Well, 'CUZ, Lord!
'CUZ! THAT'S why!"
"Nu? All My children
are at a crossroad.
What of it?"
"Aw, come on, LORD!
I just read this article
that.....
by NOW,
I should be
SAVVY and contemporary!
PROFESSIONAL!
And, SUCCESSFUL!
And, on the way to a
GREAT RELATIONSHIP!
WELL, AT LEAST NOT
OF THE FELINE VARIETY!
BUT, I'M NONE OF THESE
THINGS, LORD!
NONE OF THESE THINGS!
AGHHH!
And, the WORST of it is:
I didn't even know.......
I was AT a CROSSROAD!
AGHHH!"
[LAUGH.]
"What of it, child?
What is the most important?"
[wiping sweat off middle-aged brow]
"Huh? What'd 'Ya say, Lord?
I was in the middle of a panic
attack. I wasn't listening.......
[wipe off more lined beads of sweat]
What'd 'Ya SAY?"
[CHUCKLE.]
"Child, don't you know?"
"WHAT?
What, Lord?"
"You've always been
at a crossroad,
My precious."
[stop panicking; lines fade
(without Botox)]
"I HAVE, Lord?
I HAVE?
REALLY?"
"Yes, My child."
"Well, WHERE am I gonna' GO?"
[GENTLE NOD.]
"Hopefully to Me,
My child.
Hopefully,
to Me."

....as he journeyed
he approached Damascus,
and suddenly a Light
from Heaven
flashed about him.
And, he fell to the ground.....
