Born in the land of Jerusalem where He lied sweetly in a manager at
a place called Bethlehem.
The son of a carpenter and also known as a teacher who taught many lessons about love.
He came to the world and made one of the greatest sacrifices --- His life.
They taunted, ridiculed and beat Him to His bare bones and when that wasn’t enough He was hit with many stones.
Once all the hateful deeds were said and done, a crown of thorns they lay on the head of this Righteous One.
Nailing Him high on the cross for display, despite the fact that He came to save the lost on that day.
The people screamed and many cried as they looked on, as those enemies pierced His hands, feet and sides.
But the Romans and Pontious Pilate couldn’t keep a great man down.
This Prince of Peace rose miraculously straight from the ground, and with it came A mighty thunderous sound.
After three days of darkness and rainy weather our dear Redeemer did rise.
He ascended into Heaven, far above the skies.
What a comfort to know that He’s the Rose of Sharon, not to a few but to everyone.
