God reveals Himself in quiet times,
In searching times,
In serving times.
He shows me His face and I vanish in the glory of it.
He speaks to my heart and I cannot contain the Wonder of His Words.
His love compells my soul to praise Him.
Can you imagine finding the words?
Can you imagine lifting your hands high enough To reach Him?
Can you imagine standing boldly in His presence,
Or bowing low enough to honor His Majesty?
But HIS words ARE the Words!
He already touches us.
He's lowered Himself that we might cast our own crowns at His feet and
Inhabits our praises as we stand and worship Him In truth.
And when we see only the shadows of His face, still we know that He is there.
When we feel His rod upon us, we recognize the Hands of Love that hold it.
When He seems so far away and we ache for His Presence, we recall the cross -
That He died to keep us near to Him.
When our will is restless, He's asking for surrender,
And when we no longer strive for 'self' we are One with Him.
God reveals Himself to draw us into Himself-
One with Him!
