I took some silver rings one day,
to try and make a new design,
they were two sizes, two different colors,
they were to be intertwined
But somehow the design would not work,
one not big enough, the other too small,
they just would not come together,
It just was not going to work at all.
Although I had the two different sizes
they were not the ones called for;
and if I wanted that particular design,
I'd just have to go get some more!
It reminded me of how I used to be
a wrong ring, trying to fit into a design,
the pattern called for something new,
I was missing that touch Divine
But one day Jesus came to me,
He somehow had heard my cry,
and showed me the pattern He had planned
the one He'd help me to try
Suddenly the ring of my life
fit right into His design brand new,
and when the time was exactly right,
He showed me the pattern meant 'two'!
Into my life God brought the one,
to make complete this design so true,
and the rings of your heart and mine,
fit perfectly because I LOVE YOU!!
With God as the Master planner,
we make a new design each day,
He tells us what path we should go down,
what to do and what to say
Joy accompanies every step,
the happiness is ever new,
for this is a journey of lives melted together,
we are one, and oh, how I LOVE YOU!!
