"Lord?"
"Yes, child?"
"You weren't, like,
waitin' to hear my
resolutions? I
sure HOPE not!"
"No, My beloved.
"Wow, THAT'S a relief!
I was scared You might
demand that everybody turn
in their Resolutions Worksheets."
[SMILE.]
"Are you in fourth grade, child?"
"Sometimes, I feel like it."
(silence)
And, sometimes I still wann'a be."
"Why, My child?"
"'Cuz, back then, I didn't have this
bruise on my heart. I could touch it,
and nothin' inside, hurt."
"I know, My beloved."
"There's nothin' I can do, Lord:
nothin' at all."
"Perhaps not, child.
But, Who can?"
"Hm. But, what can YOU do, Lord?
What......."
"Are you keeping your eyes
on Me, child?"
"Well, yeah.
I try."
[PATIENT SILENCE.]
"I guess THAT could be a new
resolution for me, Lord."
"What, child?"
"To resolve to keep .......
Keepin' my eyes on You."
[NOD.]

And Peter answered Him,
Lord ......bid me come to You
on the water.
He said 'Come.'
So Peter got out of the boat
and walked on the water
and came to Jesus;
but when he saw the wind,
he was afraid,
and beginning to sink
He cried out, 'Lord save me!'
Jesus immediately reached
out His hand and caught him,
saying to him,
O man of little faith,
why did you doubt?'
