Another trial comes,
no surprise.
This is evidence
to promised tribulation,
giving clues to the divine and
sovereign watch over me.
No need to fear
or to worry.
These are times
to reveal fleshly weakness
and lordly strength.
These are Your ways,
to stretch and move me.
You test me
to grab more firmly
onto Your promises.
You will see me to the end.
You will perfect my concerns,
to bring me to fruition,
the good which is found
in Your Son’s likeness.
