" I try so hard to get our friendship back to the way it was" he said in frustration as he banged his fist slightly on the table. " How do I handle that?".
" First of all you are doing the right thing".
" And what is that?" he replied with a confused look at his friend.
" Because you are explaining the situation to me first" he said with a smile as a library patron came by and shook his hand.
" What else can I do?" Nicholas asked as he swept more tears from his eyes and blew his nose with a tissue.
" Take the initiative and focus on your friend's feelings" the Creator said with a loving look. " You should also admit your own mistakes and have patience".
" Ok, I will try those ideas" Nicholas replied with a smile as he stood up and hugged his friend. " Thank you for making me feel better".
" Nicholas always remember" the Creator said as he stood up from his chair. " Because you are a child of mine, I want you to be a peacemaker".
