And suddenly there was
with the angel a multitude
of the heavenly host
praising God.
[Luke 2:13]
*******************************
"Lord?"

"No."

"WHAT?
I haven't even ASKED 'Ya, yet!"

"Yes, you have.
No."

"Gee, You're QUICK!"

"Yes, child.
I am."

"Uh, oh.
Am I in trouble, again?"

[NOD.]

"Well........let's not
talk about that.
Anyway, how COME?"

"How come what, My beloved."

"I mean, about the ANGELS!"

"What about them, My precious."

"Well, most people have at
least SOME time off for the
holidays."

"They SHOULD."

"Yeah, but......."

"My messengers don't."

"Well, I can see the
FIRST Christmas,
what with the all the
singing,
and all, but........"

[LAUGH.]

(hopeful smile.)
"Oh, good.
Am I making 'Ya forget
about that OTHER thing?"

"Not on your life, child."

"Uh, oh."

[NOD.]
**************************
When the angels went away
fromt them
into Heaven,
the shepherds said ............
Let us go over to Bethlehem,
and see this thing
that has happened,
which the Lord
had made known to us.
[Luke 2:15]
