Before He even ministers, Jesus is hunted

The past cannot quench His Power
The future cannot quench His Power
The present cannot quench His Power
Nothing can hold back the Power of Jesus

As a baby He was hunted
His birth was plaque with problems
But His purpose was Eternal
No problem could stop the life of Christ--Not even death
As a child Jesus was feared by His enemies
Before He even spoke full sentences; He is feared
Before He even ministers; He is hunted
But Glory to God the Father who protected Him and
So we know that nothing can quench His Power

The birth of Jesus reveals the mind of God
The Father will protect His Son
The angels will play a role and
The soul of man can be saved

The past cannot quench His Power
The future cannot quench His Power
The present cannot quench His Power
Nothing can hold back the Power of Jesus

A different approach to the old story of Jesus' birth, life and death. I like the way you began and ended your poem with the same words. This made your point strong. I think there was a purpose in the writers of the Gospels not to have put a great deal of emphasis on Jesus' childhood, other than the one incident of Him in the temple. We can only just faintly imagine what His childhood was like. But we do know that He was under subjection to His parents, as any child is. I don't know, of course, but I don't think that He performed miracles as a child. The Gospel states that His first miracle was that of turning water into wine. I think God had a purpose in not allowing His early days to be noted by His writers...The emphasis on His life is His ministry and His purpose in coming into this world as a "normal", human baby....God bless you. Your writing is unique...Helen
