What do you think when you think of christmas? Do you think of sugar plums, presents, family get togethers? What about the decorations on your house, the giant lit up sign that says happy "holidays". Shouldnt it be christmas?
Thats what alot of people try to say. Merry xmas and a happy holidays. I dont believe in all of that. Whats Christmas? "Christ"- mas. And whats easter? The rising of Jesus.
The world trys to take Christ holidays and turn it into wordly holidays. With santa claus, and the easter bunny, leprechans, and halloween. Its rediculous. Without christ there would be no holidays.

In school they try to say that x mas is actually a short way of saying Christmas. True. But why call it xmas?
My english teacher told me x in hebrew actually was written when william tynedale was making copies of new testaments in english series. May be a nice way of saying it, but... its still used as a way to kick Jesus out.
How do you think God thinks of it, when people kick the christ out of christmas? Like, ohhh this is so great! A new way of using the name of the very birthday my son came into the world.
Lets remember people, to honor God during the holidays. Tear down that happy holidays on your door, and paint a new sign of Merry Christmas on your door. Have a manger scene. After all, it is Jesus's birthday.
