He Is The Son of the Highest;
He Is the Great I AM.
Born in a manger low;
came the Christ Child
to Bethlehem.
The Bright Morning
Star,The Lamb of God;
in swaddling clothes lay so
meek and so mild.
Heaven’s King came
to the earth as a child.
How could this be that the
Son of God would leave the
realm of Glory;to live among the
hearts of men!
Sent from Heaven,was
The Son Of God;born
in the town of Bethlehem.
On that Holy Night,Mary’s heart
pondered upon Her Saviour’s
birth.He who lay in her arms
was He Who created the
Heaven’s and the Earth.
Come and behold this Holy
Sight.Ponder in Your heart
The God of Wisdom,Love,Mercy,
and Light. Behold the Babe in
Bethlehem.Come and worship
The Great I AM.
Come and see The tiny hands;
The Very Hands that
delivered You and me.Behold
God’s Greatest Gift.
Wonders of Wonders God
came to the earth,to
give us a second birth.
Behold the Baby;
see The Saviour,Hear
The angels sing His
Song.Because of Christmas
Day our hearts have
been redeemed and to
to Him do we belong.
Dee, I cannot find your email address in my address book but I am giving you permission to put my poem "The Lonesome Christmas Tree" on your website. As always, I am honored. Love to you and David and I hope you have a beautiful Spirit-filled Christmas this year.

This poem is just BEAUTIFUL Dee and it really touches my heart. Yes, God gave us a PRICELESS gift, the GIFT of HIS SON, who sits on the throne of our hearts producing love and mercy and grace. May His love just flood our lives this year producing a most MIRACULOUS Christmas for you and David and for all. Merry Christmas Sis, I love you, Sharon
Dear Dee...This line gives me 'God Bumps' - "He who lay in her arms was He who created the Heaven’s and the Earth." IMAGINE holding God in your arms!!!! Dee, this is a beautiful poem and helps us all return our focus to the meaning of Christmas - the celebration of God's gift to mankind! Through a baby's birth we have also been given LIFE ...eternal life! With love, always. Peggy

As I read this, I thought of how Mary must have felt. I am sure that there is no greater joy to a mother than holding her first-born in her arms. ...(I can only just imagine, not having had the experience of holding a newborn baby - my own baby - in my arms.)...But for Mary, who knew this was a special Child, a Child whose Father was God, the joy must have been SO very great. Her heart must have been bursting. He was/is the Son of the Highest. Thanks Dee for your insight on what it was like for Mary to experience this....Helen
What a beautiful gift to our Savior! Merry Christmas Sis. Dee to you and yours! May God's gift of peace, love and joy surround you and your home this special time of the year and all year through! Blessings, Gloria
Dee, This is a precious poem and I loved it. Thank you. May you and David have a Christmas to remember this year with the peace and love of Christ dwelling deep in your hearts. Love in Christ,
