Will all I do be in vain
will this weight of the world drive me insane
Its already written in Gods book
Oh how I wish I could take a look
So many tears this life has given
Sometimes I wonder how i keep living
The road to heaven is rocky and long
So many turns that end up wrong
A dead end here a river to cross there
How on earth is this all fair
God knows the steps that I will take
He also knows each mistake I will make
He knows my prayer before I fall to my knees
He knows Im sincere although he disagrees
For what I want and what I get is not the same
And He nor Me is the one to blame
There is a purpose for us all
Whether we rise or whether we fall
Its not for us to understand
Our future is in his hands
