Created beautiful, good and great
Fearful, marvelous, a masterpiece
Wonderful, divine, of top rate
But sin came to disfigure, mar
Born with a future filled with hope
Made in the image of the Most High
Wired with a mandate to give hope
But self came to circumvent
Raised, endowed, empowered
Consecrated, separated, sealed
Furnished, blood-bought, betrothed
But Satan came to kill, destroy, steal.
But God has the last word, final say
His will will be done; His kingdom will come.
The vision that He ordained will not delay
Sin, self and Satan must give way.
