If in the course of our daily struggles for perfection in Godliness we fail...surely we shall rise again .
And if peradventure we fall short daily of Godly virtues, either by compromise or hypocrisy, we are undaunted because we discourage guilt by encouraging our conscience.
If then we die holding to faith -in the course of our strivings and struggles to achieve perfection in Godliness- glory be to God!
And if we die...we shall die fighting, believing in the resurrection of the perfect self through faith in Christ Jesus!
We know fully well that this course of striving can easily be aborted by a guilt stricken conscience.
Nevertheless, we are persuaded that so long as we daily by faith strive for excellence in Godliness...not encumbered by mortal guilt, nor weighed by the scale of a conscience stricken by our adulterous idolatries, we shall live our lives in Godliness if we faint not.
