God, Bless Him

God, bless him in the morning,
even before he opens his eyes.
And let him know in his heart
that You’ve heard his every cry.

God, bless him in the noonday,
when the world rushes by him so fast.
And give him a glimpse of You
and how You held him through the past.

God, bless him when he lays down
and whisper mysteries in his ear,
mysteries of love and grace,
and wipe away every tear.

God, bless him all the day long
and while he’s sleeping throughout the night.
All these things I pray You’ll do,
not by strength, nor power, nor might,

but by Your Spirit. Bless him.
Increase his faith and fulfill his dreams.
Let him know, when times get tough,
not all things are the way they seem.

Ephesians 3:16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

Isaiah 11:2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;

Galatians 3:14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

1 Corinthians 2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

If you died today, are you absolutely certain that you would go to heaven? You can be! TRUST JESUS NOW

Dear Treava... This lovely poem sounds like a prayer we parents often utter - asking God to bless our children and reach them through His Love and not through painful experiences. We ask for His protection and gentle caring for them so that they will, truly, be His. I say "AMEN" to your wonderful words! You are an inspiration to so many of us! Love you! Peggy

Amen, now Joyce faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen. May those things now become more and more evident. I love you, Sharon
