I woke before the alarm today
excitement was in the air,
today we travel down the road
our Thanksgiving Day to share!
A chance to make both bread and pies
with granddaughters' help supreme,
and this year caramel apples are added,
it'll be more fun than it's ever been!
Then preparing the turkey and all the rest,
the family all gathered around,
and you right there by my side,
complete happiness I have found!
There is such joy in the sharing,
that's what keeps each day's charms so new
that every wish and hope and dream,
is mine because I LOVE YOU!!
I have so much to be thankful for this year,
for all the wonders and dreams come true,
and most of all I am thankful that
I have another day to say I LOVE YOU!!!
