If we could but learn to put Jesus first
Many problems we would not face
The real problem is this
We put Him in second place
He will protect us
He will lead and guide our way
If we will just seek Him first
At the beginning of our day
Jesus is the answer
Truth only comes in Him
He desires to take your hand daily
And walk with you as friend
If you could just know
How deep His love is for you
And how He yearns to be a part
Of all that you say or do
You would run to Him with open arms
You would embrace Him continually
As you realize that true life will only come
Through Him, here on earth and, in eternity.
