The Home for Christian Writers!   Poetry PLEASE ENCOURAGE THE AUTHOR BY COMMENTING   LEAVE COMMENT ON ARTICLE   SEND A PRIVATE MESSAGE   HIRE THIS WRITER REPORT ARTICLE  TRACK THIS AUTHOR  ADD TO MY FAVORITES   In A Twinkling of an Eye by Rick King  11/20/07 For Sale  SEND A PRIVATE MESSAGE  HIRE THIS WRITER Tweet In A Twinkling of an Eye Jan 13, 2007 By Rick L King In the twinkling of an eye We all shall be changed We will finally all be like Jesus We will never be the same Until the sound Of that last trumpet call We will still be changed daily As was, the Apostle Paul If our heart is right And to Jesus we always cry Little by little this old man Will lose power and eventually die God said that there is none perfect No, not even one That doeth good and sinneth not In our self, no good works have been done God sends His anointing To an imperfect man So that we may be a vessel To fulfill His glorious plan In our flesh dwells nothing good So God sends to us His power Only then do we have the ability to do All the things which He desires, in this hour I look forward to that day That we all will be changed For in the twinkling of an eye We will have no more pain There will be no more colors of skin Not some rich or some who are poor There will be no more pride or greed No more people walked over like a floor No more walls to separate One over another We all will truly become Loving sisters and brothers Since God is not a respecter of persons Then I see us all the same No denominational corners in Heaven We will all enjoy God’s rain Yes, in the twinkling of an eye We shall all be changed What a glorious day that shall be When Jesus gets all fame.
