King Down deep under the ocean Sits this little water pot All covered with barnacles What is its purpose, we know not It has been submerged For such a long time No one knows That it has a purpose, divine God has it hidden away Till the time He calls It has a destiny Though by sight, doesn’t appear that way at all He cleans up the pot Makes it shiny and new He fills it with water And gives it a job to do People seem to wonder Where did this pot come from? Where did it get the living water? Look how easy it gets things done This pot pours out life And has a continual supply For with Gods Holy Spirit This pot will never go dry This lesson of the pot Makes me think of the carpenter’s son Can anything good come out of Nazareth?
