I thank the Lord for the birth of you,
and making another of my dreams come true.
The joys of fatherhood had begun,
the moment I laid my eyes upon you my son.
And because of you I am exceedingly glad,
and do think I am the luckiest dad.
We will help each other grow,
and be proud of you always this I know.
And as your dad I ask of you this one thing,
please sin not before the Lord God our king.
