When He looks at me I want Him to see His reflection
Not "my" perfection, but a resemblence of Him.
When He looks at me I want Him to see my attributes growing, my flesh further dying
And that I have quit trying - on my own.
When He looks at me I want Him to see beauty not battle, spiritual gain not chattle
And smile to Himself as He looks at me.
When He looks at me I want Him to say, "My you've come a long way, just sit with Me today"
as He looks at me.
And then before His throne-
I hope to hear Him say "Well done good and faithful servant" when He looks at me.
