"I am lonely and troubled.
Show that you care
and have pity on me.
My awful worries keep growing.
Rescue me from sadness.
See my troubles and misery
and forgive my sins." (Psalms 25:16-18)

I Come to You

Written by Ann Marie "Ree" Brown
August 26, 2003

To live with this
Such pain I feel
Deep in my heart
Regrets so real
My heart is heavy
My soul feels weak
To live today
I just can't take

I can't see clearly
Right now I'm weak
My mind is weary
When I just think
I want to give up
And leave this place
The pain hurts deeper
Than I can take

So I come to you
In dire need
Of your comforting arms
Lord, take the lead
I give to you
All I have
within myself
I give my life

When you are weak, the Lord is always there.
