Forgive

I don't know how He forgives me
For all the wrong I've done
His loving heart forgave me freely
Because He is the one
To walk in His light shining brightly
I must try to do the same
Forgive others for hurt they've caused
Things that caused me pain
He forgives me, all my sins
When all I do is ask
His love for me washes over
Forgiveness of my past
His blood He shed
So I could be
Eternally with Him
Forgive me, please
I pray and plead
Forgive me for my sins
The tables turn and now to me
It's my turn to forgive
Others that have caused me grief
Pain felt from their sins
His blood He shed
So they could be
Eternally with Him
Forgive them, please
I pray and plead
Forgive them for their sins

Another beautiful poem Ann Marie. Some have trouble receiving His forgiveness, but even more have trouble showing the same to others. Lovely poem and good message. With love, Deb
