I have known my share of sadness
I have cried my share of tears
I have known the depths of despair
Drowned in an ocean of fears
But tears can’t fall forever
Someday the fears must cease
The God of comfort calls out
And offers us His peace
The night is fading
The end of all is drawing near
The light is rising
The day of God is almost here
And though darkness spreads
It has already been undone
So lift your eyes to the skies
A new dawn comes
I know that you’ve been through trials
I know you’re suffering pain
But the story does not end here
All you’ve done is not in vain
So don’t you dare give up now
Lean on His arms of mercy
And let this hope comfort you
He’s wanting you to see
The night is fading
The end of all is drawing near
The light is rising
The day of God is almost here
And though darkness spreads
It has already been undone
So lift your eyes to the skies
A new dawn comes
The time has come
For those sleeping to wake up
For a new age is waiting in the wings
For all of those who have believed
The night is fading
The end of all is drawing near
The light is rising
The day of God is almost here
And though darkness spreads
It has already been undone
So lift your eyes to the skies
A new dawn comes
Salvation is here

Romans 13:11-12 "And do this, understanding the present time. The hour has come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light."
