There’s no need to pack a bag
Within me is my carry-on
I’ve entered the appointed hour
All my tears, dried and gone.
Journeying under the pilgrim moon
Singing unto a new land soon.
The Truth shall lead me all the way
My soul rejoicing all the day.
Arriving where I need to be
By the pure waters flowing free
And in the midst, the Tree of Life
Gently calling out to me.
The Word has formed a nation
Prepared for celebration.
Gladness completely fills my heart
As I reach my destination.
Revelation 22:14
Blessed are they that do his commandments,
that they may have right to the
tree of life, and may enter
in through the gates into the city.
Isn't it wonderful that we know our Destination? What a beautiful picture you have painted, both by your words and by the picture at the top of your poem...Thanks for sharing. God bless you....Helen
Eternity Face to face with the everlasting, never-changing God and Savior of our souls. I got a title for a future poem just yesterday ... "Ready When You Are". I can't wait to write it :) My heart is where yours is, sis! Blessings always - Love, Jody
