Be quick to listen,
And be slow to speak;
To learn a lesson,
For what you may seek.
If you let anger,
Start blocking your way,
Your words turn vulgar,
As you start to stray.
Then you can not do,
Good things God wants done;
But rather argue,
As others you shun.
Stop your corruption,
Think humble instead;
Show some affliction,
For Christ who had bled.
So hear to obey,
To the One who saves;
Soon will come the day,
Reborn from the graves.
