Today I’m walking down this road and I’m feeling all alone.
I know You haven’t left me on my own
But I’m feeling lonely for reasons unknown.
I don’t know exactly what’s wrong,
but I’m feeling distant from You
and I’m standing here not knowing what I should do.
I know You haven’t left me on my own.
And I believe You’re standing right here next to me.
Yet, I feel so alone, and I can’t wait to get home
Because this life makes it so hard
To stay where You are.
I can’t go without You even one day!
Lord, I need You to wrap Your arms around me
And tell me every thing's okay.
Don’t leave me hanging here wondering if it’s something I’ve done.
Lord, please don’t hold back from me Your love.
If there’s something that needs to change,
make it known to me so I can ask Your forgiveness
And feel safe again within Your security.
I know You haven’t left me on my own.
And I believe You’re standing right here next to me.
Yet, I feel so alone, and I can’t wait to get home
Because this life makes it so hard
To stay where You are.
Lord, I need You here with me now.
I can’t live my life without You,
I need You to show me what I should do and tell me how.
There are so many things calling out to me.
I need Your guidance to show me where I should be.
Your Presence is the one thing I can’t live without even a single day.
Please let me feel You with me now as I pray.
I know You haven’t left me on my own.
And I believe You’re standing right here next to me.
Yet, I feel so alone, and I can’t wait to get home
Because this life makes it so hard
To stay where You are.
Lord, allow me to feel Your loving arms around me.
Bring me back to the place where Your face is all I see.
If there’s something I’ve missed
I ask that You show it to me.
Please keep me from making a mess out of everything You’ve given to me.
Lord, I’m calling out to You again!
I’m on my knees begging You to save me from this empty feeling within.
I know You haven’t left me on my own.
And I believe You’re standing right here next to me.
Yet, I feel so alone, and I can’t wait to get home
Because this life makes it so hard just
To stay where You are.
