There was a time when I couldn’t deal with you.
Not so long ago when you’d creep in and
whisper in my ear, I didn’t know what to do.
I’d feel your hot breath on the back of my
neck and I’d shake right out of my shoes!
When I’d see you peering at me from the dark,
I’d be terrified and fear-stricken within my heart.
Yeah, there was a time when I couldn’t handle you,
but that’s no longer the case, you see; for I found
Someone who covered me with His love and
protection and He’s looking out for me.
If you think you can take me out now
you’re nothing but wrong!
Now I have Jesus on my side and with Him
I stand strong, I’m safe under the Son so if
you still wanna fight all I can say is BRING IT ON!
I’m no longer worried that you might defeat me.
Jesus took my fear away and gave me His peace.
He told me I no longer need to be afraid for He has
covered me with His blood and my soul He has saved.
Through Jesus Christ this fight has already been won
so if you still want a piece of me, BRING IT ON!
I gave my life to Christ and He took me in.
He gave me shelter from you and He saved me from my sin.
With the Son of God I made an awesome deal,
I gave Him my life and He assured me that your
fate has already been securely sealed!

The fight for my life you cannot win, for now
I stand with Christ and He’s stronger than you’ve ever been!
The strength to overcome you is something I no longer lack.
You don’t scare me anymore for I know the Son of God has my back!
You may hit me with your fist and you may
even cause me to trip, but read my lips,
you won’t have the upper hand for long.
Even when I’m at my weakest, Jesus will be strong!
So just when you get me down and you think you’ve won,
You better watch out because that’s when Jesus will step out
And His voice will thunder, “To Me this child belongs!
Now this fight is Mine, so Satan, BRING IT ON!”
Yeah, there was a time when I couldn’t deal with you,

Now I have Jesus on my side and He’s watching out for me.
I’m not in this fight alone; I’m safe under the Son.
So go ahead, BRING IT ON!
