O Lord if I could find
one place in all the world
to have my heart be filled
filled without reserve
But through these lowly valleys
and on these mountains high
I find no rest to speak of
no peace to live and die
I shall not terry on here
I shall not stay to long
for heaven calls me homeward
and there I long to roam
This world is not my home
and here I shall not rest
though life is ever daunting
my eyes I shall keep fixed
And in life’s darkest valleys
and by it’s steepest ways
My heart will ever seek you
