I entered in a room so big
the scent of flowers in the air;
and before my eyes there was a book,
but nothing was written there
I took a look around me,
there were words lying everywhere,
and I was supposed to find the right ones,
and put them right in there
I looked again and saw some words
were bright and shining like the sun;
those were the ones that were special to me
I pulled them out, one by one.
First I took my favorite words;
the ones that always are so true
and put them on the very first page;
they said "I LOVE YOU!"
Then I put a big collection
of 'picture-words' on the next page;
to help describe how it is that I feel
young and glowing, these words don't age!
I put down "Joy" and "Happiness"
how they both fill up my time;
and "Wonder" and "Bliss" for how I feel
because I am yours, and you are mine.
Then I closed up my gift-book
I knew what I must do;
I wrapped it up in hope and dreams
and brought it to give to you!
It is our book, it tells our story;
one that begins each day anew;
and in every page you'll find the same words;
the book is my heart, and how I LOVE YOU!!!
