Where do emails travel when they‘re not received by their chosen recipient? Is there a dead email office, as the dead letter office in the postal service? Are they just hanging around in space somewhere floating in the nanosecond of our existence? It’s a mystery.
The same mystery happens when two socks are thrown in the dryer, but
only one returns. Where did the sock go? Is it with the emails? Maybe an
area in space called “missing items” keeps them. Do they check in this
place when they have missed their destination? Are they playing hide
and seek? Are we supposed to look for them, until they say, “Here, we
are. You found us.” Where do missing emails accumulate? It’s a mystery.
As we discard writing not well written, do the emails also decide, “We
will not go where you send us? Write us again!” Are they like stubborn,
rebellious children who drag in their heels and say, “No, we won’t go,”
and choose their own end? Where are the emails that friends send
but are never received? It’s a mystery.
Since everything is controlled by God, perhaps the emails wander up
to heaven and obtain his approval before traveling to their destination.
He may say to them, “Go”, or he may say “No”. Maybe it is him who
plays Hide and Seek with us by using them. Where did the emails go?
It’s a mystery, and one that we will probably never find out in this lifetime.
That will be a question that I will ask the Lord when I return to him. “Lord”, I
will say, “Where did the missing emails end when I didn’t receive them?”
And He will show me the hundreds of thousands that were sent to him
for his approval. But because of a test of faith, a test of patience, or a
lesson to be learned by his children, they were not allowed to be sent.
He had them all the time.
If you died today, are you absolutely certain that you would go to heaven? You can be! TRUST JESUS NOW
