HOW DO WE HEAR?

Father, how we long to hear you voice
We seek your hand, to be our choice
Our rest in You will find our way
Never doubting, your presence is here to stay
Lessons we learn, are ways you're teaching
Learning to lean, to listen, ever reaching
Never to doubt, by faith we reach out
Taking your hand, no need for you to shout
By our heart we listen, we dare not tarry
Lead us, our burdens we ask you… to carry
Our prayer is most precious, in our walk of faith
Jesus, Lord plus none, let us make no mistake
Lord, carry us through, we’ll not doubt you're near
Teach us to be slow to speak, but quick to hear
We’ll listen to you, proclaiming your name
Father, in your Son only, we'll stake our claim
Each new dawning, hearing your voice of love
Never to doubt, this heavenly treasure from above
AMEN
