It is very late at night,
but God has things for me to do.
I try to sleep, but so many words fill my mind.
I lay here thinking about how late it is now.
Oh! How I wish I could sleep.
Then I remember, these words are not mine.
God is laying them on my heart at this time.
So I tell myself you need to get up and obey.
For you know if you don't the words will soon fade away.
The words He gives me are for people; I may not know.
He knows who they are for, and what they mean.
So no matter what time it may be.
I will obey God and let Him use me.

Laura, yes He awakes his Beloved. We have all heard his call in the night watches but unfortunately too often we have not listened to his voice as he speaks to us in the still small voice when all around us is quiet. I pray that you will continue to arise at the call of your name when he arouses you. God Bless.
