The devil’s illusion
Causes confusion
The grass isn’t greener on the other side
A world of choices
We hear many voices
More trouble because so many of them lied.
The devil’s distraction
An evil attraction
Trying to take your eyes off the prize
Look away from others
They’re not your brothers
Look towards Jesus in the heavens in the skies.
If you haven’t heard
Our God is the Word
He has an answer for every facet of life
Through faith brings peace
All turmoil will cease.
Joy and love manifests through Christ.
Put on your glasses
Look away from the masses
Realize that every word of God is true
The love of God is power
He’s with you every hour
Your God will always see you through.
God is on your side
He promised to provide
So always focus your eyes on the prize
Whatever the cost
All is never lost
For you are the chosen fruit in God’s eyes.
